17 October 2019

The Velozavodsky market, which is owned by the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies, was publicly thanked by the mayor of Moscow for its great contribution to the development of the trade and services complex in Moscow.

Today, the market is a modern wholesale and retail platform with a rich assortment of food. It was originally opened in 1973 as a standard market of the Soviet era. In 2018, after a large-scale renovation was carried out by the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies, the facility reopened its doors to visitors as a modern shopping and trading complex in the heart of Moscow. With a food court and convenient parking lot, the market meets all international standards in the safety, quality, and variety of food products presented by domestic and foreign manufacturers.

The market sprawls across 16,000 square meters and contains a wide variety of natural, environmentally friendly products that come directly from farms and homes throughout the different regions of Russia. The market also has stores that sell products for use around the house, pharmacies, ATMs, and a dry cleaners. There is also an entire area dedicated to wholesale food.
