More than 20,000 people visited the new Grand YUG shopping center, which the Kievskaya Ploshchad Group of Companies opened on December 1, 2019, during its first day of operation. To mark the Grand YUG’s opening, the shopping center’s Russian and foreign tenants offered visitors special terms of purchase and promotions, and designers decorated the windows and podiums of salons and shops in festive style.

Grand YUG is a new shopping center format which specializes in the sale of furniture, home goods and repairs, electronics and household appliances. The new shopping center features retailers selling kitchens, carpets and lighting, brands selling bedroom and living room furniture, soft furnishings, and bed and mattress outlets. On the first day of operations at Grand YUG, a total of more than 65 salons and shops were open.

The Grand YUG shopping center is located across four floors. The shopping center covers a total area of 46,000 square meters, of which 35,000 square meters are intended for rent. The address of the new shopping center is: 15 Kirovogradskaya Street (by the Prazhskaya metro station) on the site of the Electronniy Rai shopping center, which was built in 1998. The Electronniy Rai brand has been retained and merges in one sector electronics, household and computer equipment stores and component goods.

During the refurbishment, the building was completely modernized – communications were replaced, passenger elevators fitted out and the facade updated with media screens installed. For the convenience of visitors, a navigation system has been developed, with brands located into shopping categories. Within the complex, there is parking for 800 cars, two bistro cafes, and services for the delivery and assembly of furniture are provided.

The Kievskaya Ploshchad Group also owns the Grand furniture retail complex on Leningradskoye Shosse, which has built a reputation over the last 20 years for its high standards of customer service.
